Hello,
I never ever update this anymore. However, pictures of my trip home are up along with some of this sumer - they're a bit boring but hey, it's something. I went to the beach where The Piano was filmed and still have the tune stuck in my head.
I've now changed all of the pages so that you don't have to scroll and click anymore. Check out all new slide shows!
Recent sets of pictures up - Japan 2009 (how awesome is that country!?), Italy 2009 and London 2009 & 2010. As crap as 2009 was for my career and finances, when I looked back on the trips to Japan and Italy along with a fun summer with friends I realised that some parts were actually pretty great.
We went on holiday to Italy in November - Amalfi Coast, Naples and Venice with a stop in Paris on the way. It was fantastic. I'm still trying to burn off the copious amounts of food eaten but highly recommend food holidays to all.
I joined British Military Fitness and am finally seeing some success - only after 7 very long months of it! I have gone from being a very slow blue up to the red group (serious bootcampers!) - when you consider that I couldn't even do one push up on my knees before that is something.
2010 is going great. We're a bit broke at the moment (2009 was a shocker for my finances) so have had one very long "staycation" since April's trip to NZ. We are planning on the next adventure soon as I am desperate to go to Africa. At the moment we're looking at Tanzania, so please bare with the London posts for a while as we enjoy having lots of friends pass through this summer (HI to Andy and Natalie!). I will go somewhere incredible soon ~ it is my 30th birthday soon afterall (which is in January, a hint to anyone who wants to contribute to the travel fund and not leave me stranded in cold rainy London on such an important day)!
Hope all is well with you all. Kat
